Jon Shaw, founder of
GinclearFilm, has been involved in the ocean since
birth. He was certified as a diver when he was 13, became
commercially trained at age 19 and gained his instructor
rating by 21.
Jon
holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Marine Biology from the
University of Plymouth and in addition to his degree and
diving qualifications, has extensive technical knowledge
and experience working in broadcasting and television
production for companies such as ONdigital and Hutchison
3G. Jon now concentrates on videography, specializing in
underwater film and lectures part-time in Marine Studies
for TAFE NSW Institute.
